"Swayam has been a confidence booster for me personally - I still remember the day when I officially joined as the member, from fellow women entrepreneurs to hear back amazing feedback on what you are doing and knowing that you have a mentor to look upon was a great confidence booster. For women there are times when they might feel overwhelmed or have doubt about themselves because of the way our society is , but being a part of Swayam, when you see around you fellow women entrepreneurs who have excelled or are trying to establish their mark - you know you have a community to bank upon! In general as a woman entrepreneurs, I've felt that you tend to get bogged down by operational stuff but being a part of Swayam and its mentorship, you ensure that you take out time for strategic and operational goals for your company which is a big big help because as a founder apart from the operations, strategy and goals is something that should be a core part of their daily or monthly schedule but in reality it is not and that's way so I am and it's mentorship comes in! Highly recommended for every women entrepreneur who wants to learn and grow every day!”
"My start with iktaara was a success. I bagged projects i loved but as a business, I felt a plateau for too long. Brainstorming with my mentor opened my eyes to the option of e-commerce I have launched it already. My mentor helped me with finance related templates and I manage it better now. I had issues with a particular client that I could deal more wisely by just consulting my mentor. Swayam is all about empowering yourself, everything can be learnt if you want to and this is an open call for anyone who wants to grow.”
“While explaining my perspective to Swayam, I realised that it opened me as a person, to understand myself . As much as I would have loved to spend more time with swayam during the year, I am grateful to Swayam to have challenged me to figure things that I am truly passionate about . To summarise, my learning was Focus on more important stuff , and give up things that you are holding on tight and are insignificant”.
“Swayam has helped me strategically to evaluate various lines of businessess and has also helped with a better customer response system. Templates for data collection and management have been deployed which helps Moobaa enter the next growth phase with efficient targeting of both the online business and a strategy for brand in-store business.”
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector has emerged as a highly vibrant and dynamic sector of the Indian economy over the last five decades. MSMEs not only play crucial role in providing large employment opportunities at comparatively lower capital cost than large industries but also help in industrialization of rural & backward areas, thereby, reducing regional imbalances, assuring more equitable distribution of national income and wealth. MSMEs are complementary to large industries as ancillary units and this sector contributes enormously to the socio-economic development of the country.
